Whether seeking short-term guidance or embarking on a long-term learning journey, my individual philosophical counselling service is tailored in its approach to individual's interests and needs, fostering personal growth and self-understanding along the way. Ultimately, I aim to enhance my clients' well-being by encouraging them to think differently, and to embrace self-understanding, authenticity and integrity in their lives.
I engage my clients in deeply philosophical conversations, reflection and inquiry, and empower them to explore their beliefs, values, ideas, and life choices in a supportive environment. The goal of philosophical counselling is to assist individuals in achieving greater clarity, authenticity, and well-being by engaging in philosophical exploration of their lives and experiences. I provide an empowering and non-judgemental space to help my clients construct their own worldview.
After an initial consultation to understand your needs and goals, each counselling session is structured around open and reflective dialogue, where we explore your beliefs, values, and life experiences in depth. Together, we'll engage in philosophical inquiry, drawing from a diverse range of sources and utilising specific thinking tools to address your concerns and facilitate personal growth. Sessions are conducted in a supportive, client-led, non-judgmental environment, allowing you to explore existential inquiries, ethical dilemmas, or any other aspects of life with clarity and authenticity.
I am here to assist you in examining any facet of your life and refining your thoughts on it, whether it's a tough decision, ethical quandary, or general unclarity regarding anything, no matter how seemingly serious or unserious they may be.
When relevant and to enrich our discussions and provide a broader perspective, I'll introduce relevant ideas from the history of philosophy and sometimes literature, art too; as well as utilise specific thinking tools from a philosopher's toolbox when necessary. Working with you in a respectful, challenging, and empowering manner, I aim to encourage growth and clarity.
Individual Philosophical Counselling Sesasions are available to individual counselling clients and can be adapted to businesses. Sessions can be conducted in-person (London, UK), or online.
In my logical and critical thinking training and coaching service, I adopt a proactive approach to challenge your thinking habits and address faulty cognitive shortcuts. Through targeted coaching, I teach effective truth-seeking and truth-preserving thinking strategies tailored to your needs. By honing your logical and critical thinking skills, you'll gain the tools to navigate complex issues with clarity and precision. My aim is to empower you to think more clearly and critically, make sound decisions, and engage with the world in a more informed and discerning manner.
Logical and Critical Thinking Training & Coaching are available to both individual counselling clients and businesses for in-person (London) or online sessions.
The term peripatetic is a transliteration of the ancient Greek word περιπατητικός (peripatētikós), which means "of walking" or "given to walking about." Aristotle is known as the peripatetic philosopher, as legend has it that he had a habit of walking whilst conducting his philosophical lectures and dialogues.
Besides Aristotle, many other philosophers have been known to be very fond of walking as a means of contemplation, such as Henry Walden Thoreau, Immanuel Kant, Arthur Schopenhauer, Friedrich Nietzsche, Buddha (Siddhartha Gautama), and Jean-Jacques Rousseau.
If you think you do your best thinking whilst walking, and if you want to follow in the same footsteps (pun intended) as some of the world's greatest thinkers, then do get in touch to arrange a leisurely stroll and philosophical tête-à-tête with me.
Philosophy walks are available to individual counselling clients in London, UK. Walks will take place somewhere within London's zones 1 or 2, either along the Thames in Central London, a green space like Hampstead Heath, or a (not too) busy neighbourhood of central London.
Please do get in touch to discuss your particular needs.
